Population
The population calculator contains three procedures: Net Immigration, Evolve Population and School Population
Net Immigration
Net immigration uses the immigration variable and the emigration variable to calculate net international immigration.
These variables are specified by region, gender, time and age.
Evolve Population
The evolve population procedure combines information on population, fertility, mortality, international immigration, mobility, and net immigration to generate Canadian regional population by region, gender, time and age. It also provides the total Canadian population by region and time.
School Population
The school population calculator derives the school age population by region and time from the Canadian regional population.
