Tutorial 1 - Simple Population Cohort Model

In this tutorial we build a framework, named ‘demogVer1’. It consists of one simulation diagram which is composed of one calculator named ‘population.’ This calculator consists of one procedure which evolves a base population using a standard cohort population model.

The inputs to the cohort model are fertility, mortality, gender share at birth and net immigration which are combined to calculate population counts stratified by gender, age and time.
