Overview Information

Food Production is an organizational node containing calculators to simulate numerous aspects of food production such as animal feed required and crop use for human consumption, as well as the land use required to meet those demands. These values are passed on to calculators in other parts of the model for resource production and energy use calculations. Food Production consists of 3 calculators: Food Biomass Requirements, Animal Fat Available, and Recycled Vegetable Oil Available.
