CanESS > Demography

CanESS is a model designed to demonstrate the relationship between an evolving population, the evolution energy systems to meet that population's needs, and the emissions produced as a result. As such, the model relies on population information to determine the rate and extent of resource production or energy use.

The calculators used to simulate demographics are contained under the Demography organizational node. It comprises 3 calculators: Population, Family Formation, and Households.
