CanESS > Demography

CanESS is a model designed to demonstrate the relationship between an evolving population, the evolution of energy systems to meet that population's needs, and the emissions produced as a result. As such, CanESS relies on population information to determine the rate and extent of resource production or energy use.

The sub-models used to simulate demographics are contained under the Demography organizational node. It comprises 3 calculators: Population, Family Formation, and Households.
