Steps of Creating a Calibration Framework

Steps for creating a calibration framework:

  1. Copy simulator diagram (that runs dimensional analysis); rename to cal; change framework properties and directories
  2. Create calibration calculators
    1. If any if $history clauses are used in the simulator, preserve logic from the true branches and remove the else logic from the images in the calibrator. See Selective calibration - excluding some of a simulator from calibration
  3. Replace simulation (time dependent) informants with calibration ones (e.g. ts with th) in the calibration diagram.
  4. Initialize variable history links in simulator (Set history links…)
  5. Replace simulation (time dependent) informants with calibration ones (e.g. ts with th) in the simulation diagram in history index only.
  6. Handle binding link rules.
  7. Run dimensional analysis in calibrator.
  8. Run dimensional analysis in history in simulator.
  9. Generate SAMM loading files for both frameworks (order doesn't matter).
  10. Create model family in SAMM
  11. Load informants from cal
  12. Load simulator.
  13. Load calibrator.
  14. Save scenario.
  15. Eval history ins.
  16. Eval history outs.
